Xiaomi’s Mi Bunny
is a SIM-powered smartwatch that make and receive calls, send SOS signals
and lets you set up geofences for just $45 (N9,000). It also pairs with a parent
app that lets you customis e settings like alarms, do not disturb times
and send messages.
The watch face is a
round dial with LED dot matrix display underneath those lights up to represent
the message which the parent can send from the companion app. This is used to send
threat messages for the kids' parents and no proper social messaging activity
like emotions, symbols can be transmitted.
Mi Bunny lets the wearable to make it a point to speak to the kids'
parents, because the device contains a GSM module. It also includes a GPS chip
along with GLONASS in-built that can precisely pin-point the kid's location
just in case of an emergency. This information will be transmitted in real
time. There is also a smart watch app that provides security to the user like
navigating them to safe areas only like their school or their house. The
wearable instantly begins beeping if the child goes off track without
permissions. There is also an SOS button for the child to trigger in the case
of distress that will shoot up an emergency alert to the assigned contacts. The
Xiaomi Mi Bunny smart watch is powered by a 300mAh batter.
The Xiaomi Mi Bunny smart watch, available in China for now, comes in
pink and blue and is waterproof as well.
