Hongqi L5 - China’s Most Expensive Car at N160m Costs more than a Rolls Royce



Talk of auto superfluity and tech, then you have Chinese luxury car, Hongqi L5.  At $800,000(N160m) this sleek ride, targeted at multibillionaires is equipped with a 6.0 liter V-12 engine and produces 402 hp. and 405 lb/ft. of torque. The car also features intelligent 4-wheel-drive technology and an adjustable hydro-pneumatic suspension.


The interior sports celadon-jade door handles, hand-carved wood inlays, perforated leather upholstery and a tablet centre console. The rear compartment is equipped with 1.1 metres of leg room, beige carpets, rear-seat entertainment system with television,   Bose sound system and  6-disc CD changer.



The retro modern sedan car from the company, Hongqi (Red flag), China’s oldest automaker known for their mammoth limousines and parade cars, was bought by Wang Zhonghua , Nanjing based car enthusiast. The car will be ready in three months.
