HP Unveils the World's Thinnest Laptop
HP has released its ultra-thin laptop, the Spectre 13.3, which just 10.4
mm thick. The Spectre 13.3 is built on a CNC-machined aluminum chassis with a limited edition 18-karat gold and diamond
version .The device also comes with a carbon fiber bottom, which drastically
reduces its overall weight to just 1.1 kilograms.
According to the company, laptop
will feature high gloss copper accents reflect a hand-polished, jewelry-like
finish and an innovative hidden piston hinge creates the illusion of a
hinge-less design to offer an unmatched premium look-and-feel.
The gilded version is created by Tord Boontje and Jess Hannah and sports
ornate floral patterns inspired by peacocks and butterflies. The 18-karat gold
traces and the Swarovski crystals are set against a Midnight Blue backdrop,
creating a magical contrast.
On the inside, these laptops feature Intel i5 and i7 CPU options,
storage of up to 512 TB, up to 8 GB of RAM, 3 USB Type-C connectors and a
battery that will last nearly 10 hours on a single charge.
The Spectre 13.3 will be available in May at $1,250(N250, 000).
